Wanted to point out a packaging design flaw in this T-Mobile prepaid sim card activation kit. The main problem is that the needed numbers to sign up for your account and plan online are hidden under the packaging that you physically have to rip open [Learn more below]. I just wanted a cheap pay as you go plan and for $3 a month for 30 minutes of talk or text, it was the best deal for her needs for piece of mind. When you open the packaging, there is a tab that says PULL. Once you pull, panels on both sides pop out. One side has the sim card readily available. The other side is sealed with two slits as seen in the video. There is no indicaiont that there is something important under there; there is no labeling like, RIP HERE or FURTHER DOCUMENTATION under here. All you can see is white behind the slits. First, you think all the info you need is on the sim card side, but there are other security numbers that need to be entered when activating your t-mobile sim card online. This information is in the booklet that you don't really know is on the other side. Now, I might have been in a hurry or missed it for some other reason. What I'm saying is that it's not immediately noticeable when it should be. I've activated many lines on all the companies and a couple on T-Mobile and the previous packaging was very clear and straight forward. I started a chat session to see where the other info was that was asked for on My T-Mobile. The customer service rep just said, it's there on the sim card activation kit. I was like it's not. Then, I decided to just rip up the whole package and finally found the booklet behind the hidden flap. I mean at least put a perforated strip there or a TEAR HERE notice, so that people know there's something back there. It really just seems like thick white cardboard of foam core to hold the packaging together to balance out the other side as you pull. There is no indication or labeling that says there is very important information that you will need to sign-up online. That's my two cents on this Tmobile no contract packaging. Of course, when I got past that, it was easy. Got my grandmother's cheap t-Mobile phone up and running with enough prepaid refill money to auto-renew for a year. There's no 4g data plan included, but she doesn't need all that. Just a nice and cheap prepaid phone wireless plan for her to use in case of emergencies. The new sim card kits are nice in that they come with all sizes and adapters; micro, nano sim, and the original size; which I had to use here as it wasn't an iPhone or android phone, but an old flip phone by Nokia.
