But what about when we want to escape the real world and enter into a virtual one? Does Facebook still play a role? For Oculus, the answer is yes. Oculus is a virtual reality headset that allows you to experience immersive, three-dimensional worlds. And while there are many virtual reality platforms out there, Oculus is one of the only that integrates with Facebook. That means that you can use your Facebook account to login to Oculus, and access your Facebook friends list and news feed within the Oculus interface. Users of the Oculus Quest and Meta Quest virtual reality headsets will no longer be able to sign in to their headsets with their Facebook accounts as of August 23, 2022, according to a Facebook notice.
