The Call of Duty Franchise has been dominating the world of gaming for two decades now. Throughout the years, the franchise has released dozens of titles throughout multiple platforms. With there being so many games in the franchise, you may not know which is the best. As someone that has played all games, here is my opinion on some of the best Call of Duty games, let me know if you agree and which are your favorites.
Black Ops 2
Black Ops 2 is considered one of the best Call of Duty games for a number of reasons. The game features an expansive campaign mode with a branching storyline that allows players to make choices that affect the outcome of the game. The multiplayer mode is also highly praised, with a large number of maps and game modes to keep players engaged for hours on end. The game also features the popular Zombies mode, which tasks players with surviving against hordes of undead enemies. Overall, Black Ops 2 is an incredibly well-rounded game that offers something for everyone.
Cold War
The newest entry in the long-running Call of Duty franchise, Cold War takes players back to the height of the Cold War in the early 1980s. Tasked with stopping a global conspiracy, players will travel across the world to locations like East Berlin, Turkey, Cuba, and more. Along the way, they’ll use a variety of period-appropriate weapons and gear, and team up with characters like President Reagan’s head of CIA operations, Adler. While the campaign is the star of the show, Cold War also features a robust multiplayer mode that features the return of some fan-favorite modes like Search and Destroy, as well as new modes like VIP Escort.
Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2 is often hailed as one of the best Call of Duty games ever made. It was released in 2009 and was developed by Infinity Ward. The game is set in the modern day and features a fictional conflict between the United States and Russia. The game’s campaign mode follows the story of Task Force 141, a special forces unit who are trying to stop a Russian Ultranationalist group from starting a world war. The game’s multiplayer mode is also very popular, with players able to compete in a variety of game types. Modern Warfare 2 is a great game and is definitely worth playing.

Second, the gameplay is excellent. The controls are easy to learn and the game is very addictive. Third, the multiplayer is very good. There are a lot of maps and modes to choose from and the servers are always full. Fourth, the campaign is great. It is very long and there are a lot of different missions to play. Fifth, the zombies mode is very fun. There are a lot of different maps and modes to choose from and it is always a blast to play.
